In this RPG, we battle like the show. You get a chance to defend yourself. The first attack is determined by the pokemon's speed. And, you have to use the area around you to take an advantage or disadvantage. If you do not know this, I put the areas you can battle, and a demo battle, below.
Also, we now have battle type technology now! Check out the types of battles below, also.
If a Battlefeild has *Leauge* under it, it is used in pokemon leauge.
Battle Types

Regular: You battle with your teams, like the gameboy game. This may be 3 on 6, 3 on 3, ect...

_ on _: Here you battle 1 on 1, 2 on 2, ect...

Double Team: Here is where you and few buddys team up and battle with another set of people. You can have Regular or _on _ rules. There may be teams of 2-6 people. HOWEVER, still only a 6 pokemon rule! But, more people = more pokemon out.

Triangle Match: Here it is 1 on 1 on 1. 1 or 2 pokemon per person in this battlle. Two people's pokemon may team up on the other, but they must still defeat each other.

Handicap Match: This is when it is 2 people on 1. The 1 person's # of pokemon determines the challengers. If the 1 person has 6 pokemon, the challengers may use 5 total (2 pokemon and 3 pokemon). If 5, 4. If 4, 3. If 3, 2. No less pokemon. But The Team MUST TAG in if there pokemon faint.
Places To Battle

The Town of Pallet: Here is where most startiung trainers battle. You are battling on a dirt path leading to Prof. Oak's House. You can go anywhere in town! Pallet town must at least have 5 houses, Prof. Oak's lab, and a Pokecenter, refs!

Viridian Forest: You are battling in an area full of trees. This place is very advantageous to the Plant, Bug, and Flying types. You can battle above the trees, too.

Stadium: You are battling in a stadium where the floor is made of metal. This arena is inside or outside, has spotlights aiming at the pokemon, and is a good place to battle. No pokemon has an advantage here.
*Leauge*

Swimming Pool: You are battling in a swimming pool. For pokemon that can't fly or swim, there are mats that float on the water. If your pokemon is over 100 lbs, the mat will sink. This battlefeild is advantageous to Water and Electric pokemon. *Leauge*

Open Feild: You are battling in a feild with low grass in the area you can battle. There is a tree in each corner of the battlefeild. There is a small stream in the middle of the feild. The dirt in the area is soft. Ground, Flying, and Normal pokemon do well here.
*Leauge*

Rock Feild: There are huge boulders in this battlefeild. The ground has no grass, and there is no water here. Some boulders may be moved with the strength attack. Rock and Ground pokemon have the advantage here!
*Leauge*

Seafoam Battle Area: You are battling on a blocked-off peice of rock in the cold Seafoam cave. This is just off of the water. Arcticuno may visit during the battle, but no one may catch it during a battle. Your pokemon may drift downstream, but it will return with a loss of 30 HP. Ice pokemon have the advantage!

Volcano Trimmer: This battlefeild is the top of a volcano! In the opening, there are 10 stone platforms. Near the opening, there is a flat area that circles the volcano. You can go above, below, and around the volcano. Beware! It may shoot embers any time! Fire pokemon have the advantage.

Poison Marsh: You are battling from a little peice of polluted land. There is poison water and a few strips of polluted land in this battlefeild. Occasionaly, a few grimer and Muk may come across the battlefeild and interfere, but, like other cases, no catching in a battle. This feild is advantageous to Poison type pokemon.

Mansion: Here is where you battle inside. Ceiling is rather low, so flying types won't be able to do well. You start in the main room, which has a high ceiling, furniture, and a fireplace. The rest of the mansion is up to the ref*! Because they can go through walls or can teleport, Psychic and Ghost pokemon have the advantage here!
*Mansion must have kitchen, dining room, upstairs hallway, 3 bedrooms, and 2 Bathrooms.

Ice and Snow Feild: The feild is covered with 3 feet of snow! Under parts of the snow, there are huge chunks of ice. If a pokemon has hands, they can have a snoball attack, and some attacks are changed. Occasionally a mist is sprayed to keep the ice cool. The ice and snow may be melted. Advantageous to Ice, Water, and (if ice melted) electric pokemon.
*Leauge*
OK, now that you know the locations, here is the demo. This is a battle between Chad (C) and Frad (F). I, Alex(A), am the ref.

Frad: I challenge Chad to a pokemon battle!
Chad: I accept. Let's bring it on over IM!
F: OK, I'll call Alex to ref.
C: OK.
(They meet up in chat with me, Alex.)
Alex: Battle type?
F:2 on 2!
C: I go with that.
A: OK, tell me your pokemon.
C (Privatly to A):I'll use Ditto (lv 15) and Geodude (lv 31).
F (Privatly to A): I'll use Squirtle (lv 15) and Metapod (lv 31).
A: Pokemon accepted. Where will battle be?
C: I say the volcano.
F: I'll go with that.
A: OK, call the coin toss!
F: Tails!
A: it is heads. Any pokemon start on the nearest Stone Pillar. Chad, go.
C: OK, Ditto, go!
F: For that, I choose Squirtle!
C: OK, then, Ditto, Transform!
F: For my defence, jumping Tackle!
A: Transform succseeded, Tackle missed.
F: OK, Squirtle, Bubble!
C: I choose Water Gun to defend.
A: Bubble trapped Water within, burst on Ditto.
C: Allright, Ditto, jumping Tackle.
F: Squirtle, you can dodge it! Jump to another stone pillar!
A: Squirtle dodged attack.
F: Ah ha! Squirtle, Skull Bash(TM)!
C:Ditto, while he is charging, Bubble him.
A: Ditto encased Squirtle in a bubble, charging.
C: Ditto, Water gun the bubble above the lava
F: I must release.
A: Squirtle falls into the lava, which makes Squirtle faint. Then, an eruption happens, that faints Ditto with 100 embers. Both, send out.
F: Geodude, go!
C: *Gulp* Metapod, go.
F: Ha ha ha! Geodude, tackle it!
C: Metapod, string shot.
A: Geodude stops, being wrapped in string.
C: Metapod, Tackle.
F: Geodude, rip out of the string!
A: Metapod is ripped open from tackling Geodude. What? It is... Evolved! Metapod is now Butterfree (lv 10)!
F: NOOOO! Geodude, Rock Throw!
C: Meta... I mean, Butterfree, Confusion.
A: Confusion threw the rocks back at Geodude, hurting geodude. Butterfree: 285 HP, Geodude: 153 HP.
C: OK, Butterfree, Confusion again!
F: Geodude, Turning Defence Curl!
A: Confusion defeated Geodude. Frad wins.
C: You only won because Metapod evolved!
F: Always rely on a side plan, Chad. Always.
