| "Nidoking, I choose you!" calls Gary. "Eevee, go!" I say. "Nidoking, horn attack!" says Gary. "Eevee, quick attack!" I call. Eevee quickly dodges and counters nidoking`s attack. "OK, eevee! Time for a take-down!" "Nidoking, thrash!" Nidoking is taken down by my prize pokemon. "Grrr� Nidoking, horn drill!" says Gary. "Eevee, watch out!" I say. Eevee is fainted by the drill, and I feel my pokemons pain. I pick eevee up. In a few seconds, eevee is dead. |
| "� NNOOOOO!" I scream. I was dreaming. I see eevee crawl from under my bed, fine as can be, and jump on my lap. He says, "Eewee? Ee we ee eewee! Eewee ewe we!" "I am OK, I just had a dream that something bad happened to you. Well, come on, I`ll get you something to eat." I said. I went over to my magikarp`s aquarium, and threw a handful of fish food. Magikarp ate the food slowly. I then returned it into my pokeball with a splash mark on it. I now went down to the kitchen, where my mom getting ready to leave. "Daniel, I have to go to the Trainer`s Mothers council today. Hurry and eat your pancakes, then hurry to school. Have a nice day!" said my mom, going out the door. I ate my pancakes, with some help from Eevee, and then ran to school. |

| Next class: Battling Session. I got to pick whom I battled today� Let me see� My rival, my good friend, or some girl� I decided the girl. I challenged her to a battle. I noticed one thing: I was up against 3 pokemon, with me only 2. Oh well� The battle went underway. "Eevee, I chose you!" I said, Eevee lunging forward. "Ha! For your eevee, my mankey! Go!" Out of her pokeball flew a fighting freak! "Eevee, use your quick attack on it!" "Mankey, give it a low kick!" Mankey lunged it`s foot at Eevee, but Eevee easily dodged it, and hit mankey back hard! "Oh, Mankey, give it your Karate Chop!" "Eevee, Take-Down!" Eevee dashed at Mankey, whom missed with its hand, and was hit quite hard and fainted. "Mankey, come back! Charmander, go!" "Eevee, let`s rest up! Magikarp, go! Give it a splash!" "Charmander, Scratch attack!" Magikarp slashed up some water upon Charmander, who scratched the Magikarp`s hard scales. "Charmander, now ember it!" "Magikarp, give it a Tackle!" Magikarp lunged itself at Charmander, knocking it out. "Poor Charmander! Return! Poliwag, I choose you! Give it a water gun!" "Magikarp, I think you did enough, return! Eevee, go back in! Give it a Tail Whip!" While being soaked, Eevee brought down Poliwag`s defense. "OK, Eevee, now a tackle!" "Poliwag, give it another Water Gun!" Eevee hit it`s target, making it look like a fountain on it`s back. "Poor Poliwag! I give up! Return!" From my teacher, I got $11.50 for winning. |
| It was now 11:00 A.M., it was lunchtime. After lunch, I went over to the next battler`s class. I decided to face a kid named Charlie. "Hey, only two pokemon? I`ll crush you with my four! Caterpie, go!" said Charlie. "OK, then, Magikarp, go!" I said. "A Magikarp? Ha ha ha! Caterpie, tackle!" "Magikarp, give it your tackle!" I said. Magikarp flopped on top of caterpie, hitting it multiple times. "Caterpie can`t cut it! Return! Weedle, I choose you! Poison sting!" "Magikarp, come back! Eevee, launch your quick attack!" Eevee moved swiftly, dodging the lunges of weedle, and hit the bug. "Weedle, catch up! String shot!" "Eevee, give it a Tackle!" Eevee, being close, hit the side of Weedle, making it faint. "No! Weedle, return! Metapod, go! Harden!" "Eevee, come back! Magikarp, give it a tackle!" Magikarp flopped all over the Metapod, fainting it. "Kakuna, go! Harden also!" "Magikarp, give it a splash!" Magikarp splashed off some water on Kakuna, and fainted the weakling. "What? My four pokemon defeated by his two? That is not possible!" I was given another $11.50 for winning. |
| Now it was 12:00. I decided I should go to the Pokemon Trainer Hike class. I was required to go on Path 4. This was a forest path. I ran through the forest, making good use of my time. I jumped over a small pit, then ducked a low branch, rolled under a fallen tree, and jumped over a low hedge. I then reached the finish line. My timer stopped. I had hit 22.4 seconds, the record for Path 4. I then took Path 1. It was a Water/Ice trail. I ran and jumped from ice piece to ice peace, and almost slipped on one. On the last section, I had to swim. I had Magikarp help me out here. I then hit the finish line, stopping the clock. 21.1 seconds. Path 2: Rock Trail. I ran across the winding path, and then it split. I chose left. I then jumped a small crack, and took a right at the next split. I now had to climb, but with help from Eevee, it was no sweat. I had reached the finish line. I had 26.7 seconds. Path 3: Fire Trail. I ran across the narrow path between lava. I jumped one lava pit, then the next. I then had to jump from falling platform to rising. I soon made it to the finish line, stopping the clock at 23.7 seconds. I had not made more than one record, but that was good. |
| Now I was ready for my final class before I left tomorrow. I went to Music class. Here we had our pokemon try to sing. Eevee scored a 7 of 10. Magikarp only got a 1. I then had to sing a song with my Eevee, which I chose the song, "2. B. A. Master". I got an A-. I had to listen to about nineteen other people after. Only the person with a Jigglypuff got an A+. |
| After school, I decided to test out my early birthday present - A Portable Battle Emulator. I had three choices on it now - Bug Catcher, Lass, and Youngster. I decided to face a Youngster for now. Later, he will branch off to different people. The battle engaged. "Ekans, I choose you!" said the animated Youngster. "Eevee, go! Give it a Supersonic Tackle!" I said. "Ekans, give it your Poison Sting!" Ekans started spiting a lot of purple needles at Eevee, whom dodged each one, and hit Ekans hard! "Ekans, give it your Wrap now!" "Eevee, bite!" "Ekans wrapped around Eevee, who could barely manage to breathe! "All right, Ekans, finish it! Bite!" "Eevee, Tail Whip!" Eevee`s tail managed to hit Ekans`s head, knocking Ekans off. "OK, Eevee, now it`s time to Take-Down!" "Ekans, give it a Poison Sting!" Poison Sting missed, and Eevee took the Ekans down, fainting it! "Poor Ekans! Return! All right, now, Rattata, I choose you! Quick attack!" "Eevee, you did well! Come back! Magikarp, go! Tackle!" Rattata ran just under the flopping Magikarp, and magikarp began to pummel Rattata with tackles! "Rattata, give it a Hyper Fang!" "Magikarp, hang in there!" I knew what would happen before it happened. Rattata would bite Magikarp, whose scales are so hard, they break teeth. That is what happened. "Oh no! I lost!" said the Youngster, then he disappeared. Eevee and Magikarp gained good Exp. from that. |
| I now went home and ate dinner with my mom. My dad worked all day. I told my mom that I`d be in the pokemon center if she needed me after I ate. With me, I brought my pokemon card deck. At the center, I found a person willing to battle with cards. My deck is below: |
| My pokemon included: 1 Blastoise, 2 Wortortle, 3 Squirtle, 1 Venusaur, 2 Ivysaur, 3 Bulbasaur, 2 Gyrados, 3 Magikarp, 1 Dewgong, 2 Seel, 1 Exeggcutor, 2 Exeggcute. My trainers included 1 Pokemon Breeder, 1 Pokemon Trader, 1 Professor Oak, 1 Bill, 2 Energy Retrieval, and a Potion. My energy included 16 Water, 14 Grass. |
| Now the deck battle began. We shuffled our decks, set aside our Prizes, and begun the match. I drew my main seven cards. I had three water energy, one grass energy, a Seel, an Exeggcute, and a Dewgong. I placed Seel out to battle, and Exeggcute on my bench. I found out that I was facing a Fire/Water deck. Out was a Charmander, and a Staryu was on the bench. The nurse flipped our coin, and I called Heads, and it was tails. He drew a card, added an energy to his Charmander, and scratched Seel. Now I drew a card, which was a grass energy, added a water energy to Seel, and Head-butted for twenty damage. He now drew a card, smiled, and evolved his Charmander. This was dumb. He now could not attack. He added a fire energy, and waited for my turn. I now added another water energy to Seel, drew a card, which was a Squirtle, and did another head-butt. Now he drew a card, and added another fire energy to Charmeleon, and did slash. My Seel was now at twenty of sixty HP. I drew a water energy, attached it to Seel, and evolved Seel. I then did Aurora Beam to Charmeleon, fainting it - Also getting a water energy from his Prizes. He now drew a card, placed it on his bench (It was a Horsea), and sent his Staryu at me, added an energy to it, and slapped me for twenty damage. Dewgong was left with twenty HP now, so I drew a Wortortle, evolved my Squirtle, added an energy to Wortortle, and had Dewgong faint Staryu with another Aurora Beam. He drew a card, placed a Ponyta on his bench, and sent Horsea after me. He then added a water energy to Horsea, and did a Smokescreen. Dewgong was left with ten HP left. I drew a card, and found my Bill. I discarded it, and drew two cards. Those two cards were a grass energy and Blastoise! |
| The match was short. Dewgong fainted, but Blastoise fainted pokemon after pokemon! From his prizes, I got 2 Water energy, 2 fire energy, an Articuno, and a Charizard! Wow! From such a weak little trainer! I also figured out that I had lost Exeggcutor. |
| After the card battle, I picked up Eevee, and left for the pokemart. I bought a spare Exeggcutor card to replace the one I lost. I then decided to buy 2 Potion, 1 Antidote, and 1 Burn Heal. I then headed home, for it was 5:00 P.M., and Eevee followed me all the way home. When I reached my house, I opened the door, and everyone gave me a surprise birthday party. My birthday was not untill three days, but they wanted to give me one before I left. |
| The party was great. I had many of my friends over, also starting their journey in two days. I got a total of thirty presents, but I will tell you what I got. I got $5,000; a pokeball containing a sandshrew, a pokeball containing a pidgey, a Full Restore (From my dad, he is a Doctor), and a trainer`s backpack. I soon found out that I also got an electric thing from my uncle, a war general. |
| When the party was over, it was 7:00 P.M.. I went up to my room, and began to pack for the day I leave. Let`s see here� I set my pokemon`s pokeballs aside, then began. OK, in the aide bag I stuck my Antidote, Potions, Burn Heal, and Full Restore. In the Clothing case, I stuck ten shirts and ten pairs of pants, with plenty of spare clothes to wear. In the food case, I stuck enough food for about a month, and some cake. I then looked into a deeper compartment� I found a pokeball case and a Trainer Supply box. In the pokeball case, I found thirty pokeballs and a yellow pokeball with a crack in it. It opened itself up and out came an unhappy Pikachu. I looked in my food pack - I found an apple for it. "Pikachu, will you be my friend?" I asked, handing the apple out. Pikachu looked at it, and took it. Pikachu then nodded its head, saying, "Pika pi! Pika chu!" I then looked into the Trainer Supply box. In it, I found a marker, a magnifying glass, a Silph Scope, five pester balls, a recipe book, a mini-stove, a bug catching net, an old rod, a trainer`s belt, and a video cell phone. |
| I packed everything away, and set out my clothes for tomorrow. I released all my pokemon to let them see me. I gave all of them apples. On my trainer`s belt, I set my pokeball meant Magikarp, my pokeball meant Pidgey, my pokeball meant Sandshrew, my pokeball meant for Pikachu, and my pokeball meant for Eevee. Each pokemon slept in a different place that night. Sandshrew slept under my bed, Pidgey slept on an overhead fan blade, Magikarp slept in its tank, Eevee slept under my arm, and pikachu slept under my other arm. I told Pikachu to wake me up when the alarm clock went off. I slept� |
