| Chapter Three |
| My Journey FINALLY begins� |

| I woke up about thirty minutes early� I woke Pikachu and Eevee up, got dressed, took my bath, got breakfast for all of my pokemon, then packed up, then looked at the time. It was 6:00 A.M. I still went out and rode on toward my first path. Nobody was awake, so I had a breeze getting to Prof. Elm`s Lab. When I went there, I found out that the Professor was still asleep. So, I knocked on the door about fifty times and he finally came to the door. "Why, hello Daniel. I am sorry, but I was asleep. Even though you already have 8 pokemon, I`ll give you another to make your journey a little easier. OK, have your pick!" said Elm. He led me into his lab, where I found three pokeballs. One had a Squirtle, one had a Charmander, and one had a Bulbasaur. I opened the Charmander pokeball because it was the best against the first few gyms. I called out my pokemon to let it see it`s new trainer. I used my pokedex on it. "Charmander, the lizard type pokemon. It is said that if a Charmander`s tail goes out, the Charmander will die. It is at lv15. It currently knows Scratch, Growl, Ember, and Leer." |
| I just headed out on my first route. I was watching a huddle of Pidgeys scatter from a bush. Then, as if from nowhere, I fell. Eevee was able to not fall in, for he was a foot behind me. Just then, I saw a GOE member! "Here little Eevee� Yes, good Eevee� Hya!" The GOE jumped over the pit and put a bag over Eevee. "Yes! One more pokemon for GOE!" said the member. He then saw me. "Hey there. Were you the trainer of this Eevee?" he said. "Yes, I am!" I said. "Well, kid, next time you should take better care of your pokemon! Thanks for this rare one! Ha!" said the GOE. Suddenly, I remembered Flaps. "Flaps, go! Help me out!" Flaps flew me out of the pit in front of the GOE. "Flaps, give him a tackle!" Flaps tackled the GOE, and make him drop the bag with Eevee, releasing Eevee. "Eevee, Supersonic Tackle!" Eevee made a high-speed dash at the GOE, making him fly in the sky! |
| With the GOE member: "Ah! That kid with the GOE hater hat, dressed in all black� I will have my revenge! GOE unite! GOE stay right! We will win in the end during night!" |
| Meanwhile, I was complimenting Eevee and Flaps. Flaps had grown to level 11 with that battle on a GOE. Eevee had grown to level 21. I decided I should use my bike now. I grabbed my bike`s pokeball, released it, and set up. As I rode, I realized that I had passed directly over four pits! Soon along the path, I found another pit. Inside of it, I found good old Joe Bane. Evidently, his Geodude hadn`t known Dig, and I know he had no flying pokemon. "Hey! Can you help me out here?" said Joe. "Sure Joe. No problem." I said. I had Pidgey help him out. He had no thanks to say, and ran ahead. I returned Pidgey, and I suddenly saw a pokemon just out from the ground. "Eevee?" "Chu?" said Eevee and Pikachu. It was a Diglett. Since I wasn`t restricted to just three pokemon a day now, I decided to catch it. "Seel, I choose you! Water gun!" I said. "Digit Diglett dig!" said Diglett. Diglett tried to scratch Seel, but Seel hit Diglett with water before it could. "Digit dig Diglett!" said Diglett. "Seel, Head-butt!" Diglett dove underground, causing Seel to butt the ground. "Seel, flop in the air, and prepare for a Head-butt!" I said. Seel flopped just out of reach of Diglett`s dig attack, and hit it with the spike on its head! "Pokeball, go!" I said. The ball sucked Diglett in, and started sinking in the ground. I leaped and caught the pokeball, before it went under, and the red light stopped. Just then, the light went back on, and Diglett popped out, and ran (well, more correctly dug) away. |
| Soon, after going over 10 more pits, I saw a boat. It was the S. S. Trainer. It was a boat only for trainers, and they rode for free. The next stop was Favo Island, where my first Gym Battle will be. I got on the boat, and showed the Captain my Pok�Dex. He let me on. I went around, and saw that Joe was on board. I looked at his belt. Only 5 pokemon? Jeez! I went over to the Diner, and got a bit to eat. I also got some pokemon food. I then looked for a challenge. I saw Joe, Charlie, about 500 other trainers� Then I saw a Female Trainer battling. She was one-on-one with another female, and her Raticate was doing well. She won, finally, and I then stepped forward. I challenged her to a battle. |
| "Raticate, once again!" she called. "Eevee, I choose you!" I said. "Raticate, Hyper Fang attack!" said the female. "Eevee, Quick Attack!" Eevee quickly dodged right of the mouth, then tackled Raticate. "Eevee, now use Take-Down!" "Raticate, Hi-jump kick!" Eevee missed, and noticed that Raticate was in the air. Eevee then dodged to the left, and Raticate hurt itself on the floor. "Okay, Eevee, Finish it! Take-Down!" Eevee then hit the stunned Rat, ending the match. |
| I won about 5 more battles, when I noticed a bellhop with a familiar face. Another bellhop spoke a bit to him, and they both set down their trays and headed toward me. "Come with me. Your battling talent is so good, we decided to give you a prize." Said the familiar-faced one. They lead me to a room, unlocked it, and let me in. They followed me in, and re-locked the door. Inside, I saw a box surrounded by light blue panels. "Hey, there is your prize in that box." Said the bellhop. "There`s something funny about this�" I said. I decided to do a test. From my bag, I grabbed a pokeball. I tossed it at the blue panels. Suddenly, a large cage fell from the ceiling over the panels. "So, you found out our plan! Well, we might as well reveal�" said the bellhop. Both suddenly ripped off the bellhop suites and� Both were GOE Members! "We will always win! Geodude, go!" said the new GOE. "Alright, this is payback! Rhyhorn, I choose you!" said the familiar GOE. "You two are stupid, cause� Seel, I choose you! Water Gun!" Seel fainted the rocks with a single squirt! "Pokemon, Return! Spearows, Go! Peck!" "Seel, return! Pikachu, go! Thundershock!" Spearows fainted with a single shock! "Pokemon, return!" said both. "Heh, you are number 10 on the list of most wanted! Abra, go!" said the new GOE. "GOE unite! GOE stay right! We will win in the end! Abra, teleport!" said both, and they disappeared in a flash. |
| I used the electric powers of Pikachu to break the electric lock. After I got out, I told the sailing Officer Jenny about my mishap. "Oh, that`s just terrible! Are you all right? � Well, I can see that you are. Next time you see them, use theese to get them!" She handed me five handcuffs, an anti-teleporter, and a detective`s badge. "Next time, set the ant-teleporter on, and their Abra can`t teleport. Then, Handcuff them, and restrain their pokeballs in your pocket. Good luck, detective Lough!" said Jenny. |
| After about 5 hours, we reached Favo Island. |
